President's Report
In early December, we hosted our annual Holiday Party at Corks N' Crowns in Santa Barbara. Over 30 of us gathered together to catch up on the last year, eat delicious food, admire each other's ugly holiday sweaters (pictured below), listen to live jazz music, and announce Project of the Year (POY) award winners. A representative from each project provided a short presentation, which was greatly enjoyed by all of us! The Project of the Year winners are listed below. Thank you to everyone who attended and sent in nominations this year!

This event was a great wrap up to Fall 2023 where we visited the City of Camarillo's North Pleasant Valley Desalter Facility (POY winner) in October for a lunch technical tour and hosted a successful joint Happy Hour with APWA. Upcoming Meetings
January board meeting
Join the ASCE Santa Barbara-Ventura Branch Board for our first meeting of 2024. The meeting will be hosted at the ARA office in Ventura, CA on January 10th, at 5:30 pm. Food will be provided. Please register here so we know how many people to expect.
Every month, our Board meets to plan upcoming events for our members. As we are looking to continue to build our team, there are a lot of opportunities to get involved and bring your ideas to our team! And we like to have fun :) We hope you will join us!
January General Meeting
Join us at Cafe Fiore in Ventura on January 18th from 12:00 - 1:30 pm for a lunch tech talk on the Las Virgenes-Triunfo Pure Water Facility provide by Riki Clark and Oliver Slosser, PE. Lunch is provided with your registration and meal options will be included when you select your ticket. Please register at this link before January 11th so we can provide a proper headcount to Cafe Fiore.
