President's Report

ASCE Family,

I am thrilled to be ringing in the 2020/2021 fiscal year as the upcoming president. I've been an active member with the YMF subgroup since 2014, and previously served as President of the Engineers Without Borders Santa Barbara/Ventura Chapter from 2012 - 2014. I love connecting with my engineering family outside our day-to-day work, and ASCE has been a pivotal platform to do just that. I look forward to continuing our chapter's strong involvement in the Central/South Coast communities, and hope to meet everyone soon - virtually or otherwise!

Upcoming Meetings

Welcome all ASCE/YMF Members to our 20/21 Fiscal Year Kickoff!

We virtually invite you November 18th at 6:00pm as we swear in our chapter's new officers and share our gratitude for those relinquishing the torch!

To ring in the event, Jesse Aizenstat, CEO of Forward Lateral, will talk in a Q&A about his company's innovative new technology that streamlines sewer lateral inspection programs. If you haven't heard of this software, you will. The platform has municipalities (like the City of Santa Barbara) marveling how many hours (and trees) are saved, and questioning why it hasn't been done before. Want to know more? Join us November 18th, and bring your own questions!

The event is free and a Zoom Link will be sent to all registrants 2 days before the meeting.
