Thank you to all those members and guests who showed up to celebrate the National Engineer's Week banquet at California State University - Channel Islands a few weeks ago. It was a great evening celebrating our Engineer of the Year and our two Projects of the Year for ASCE Santa Barbara/Ventura.
While I know everyone is extremely busy these days, especially trying to balance our busy lives with our personal lives, I hope you can spare a lunch hour or an hour after work to join us at one of our upcoming events. Perhaps next week in Carpinteria to get an update on the 101 Widening Project as it's making its way through Carpinteria? Or at our April event where we will be planning to hike and learn about the Old Mission Water System from one of the docents from Santa Barbara Natural History Museum.
Either way, I hope you can find the time to continue staying connected with this great community of Civil Engineers.
